Six is the key number when it comes to scouting reports. Six is good. Six means the player performs like an NFL starter most of the time. He gives a solid performance and will contribute to a winning effort.

Six is going to win his share of battles against NFL competition.

The grading scale goes from one to nine and each number is associated with key terms. Six is good. Nine is rare. One is reject. For a deeper look at the grading scale and key terms, click here (not yet posted).

7.0 — Very Good

The player performs effectively a high percentage of the time, and is capable of flashes of brilliance. He cannot make all the great plays, but he will make some of them, and it shows against all levels of competition.
